Joke Silva

Joke Silva is an award-winning Nigerian actress, producer, director and entrepreneur. Joke studied in the University of Lagos, where she bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language before heading to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, the United Kingdom, where she studied drama.

Joke started her career with the National Television Authority (NTA).before heading to the theatre for acting.She professionally debuted in Nollywood in a movie titled “Mind Bending” before featuring in other films like Owulorojo in 1993 and Violated in 1995.Her acting prowess in these movies paved the way for her invitation to get featured in a British-Canadian film – The Secret Laughter of Women in 1998, alongside Colin Firth and Nia Long.Some of the other movies Joke has featured include Phone Swap, The Secret Laughter of Women, Last Wedding, White Waters, Women’s Cot, The Amazing Grace, Letters to a Stranger, Tango with me, 30 Days, Kada River, Married but Living Single, The Grave Dust, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, Timeless, The Visitors, Bandits, Potato Potahto, amongst others. So far, the veteran actress has more than 250 movies to her name. She plays the oldest Funmilayo. She is the narrator in the movie.

Kehinde Bankole

Kehinde Bankole’s remarkable career in the Nigerian entertainment industry has established her as a versatile and respected figure in Nollywood. Bankole is known for her roles in films like “The Meeting,” “October 1,” and “Beyond Blood,” and most recently, “Adire” on Netflix. Bankole has captivated audiences with her outstanding performances. Her ability to seamlessly portray a wide range of characters has earned her critical acclaim and several prestigious awards.

Bankole made her acting debut during her reign as Lux ambassador in the family drama Super Story : Everything it Takes, playing the character Caro. She has also starred in other Wale Adenuga‘s productions

Adebayo Salami

Alhaji Otunba Adebayo Salami was born on the 9th of May 1952 into the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Abdulkareem Gbogunleri in the Agege area ofLagos State. A native of Ilorin, Kwara State, he attended Ansar-deen Primary School, Oke Popo and Adebogun Commercial School, Mushin. Lagos Drama School and several seminars and workshop including Library Course at the National Library and sandwich courses on stage and Film production He started his career as an actor in 1964 with Youngster concert party led by the late Ojo Ladipo while in school.

Adebayo Salami is a successful family man a father and mentor to numerous industry practitioners.He is Supervising Director for one of the highest grossing movie in 2022, King of Thieves and Jagun Jagun.

Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello discovered many of the present stars in the movie industry. He plays the chauvinistic Alake in this movie.

Patrick Diabuah

Trained at The Creative Arts Department of The University of Lagos. Patrick Diabuah is a versatile actor well known for his ability to adapt to any given role on stage and in front of the camera. He is also a Sculptor, Voice actor and voiceover artist, singer and acting coach.

He has been in the practice of professional acting for theatre as well as film for over seven years. His voice works include the First Bank @100 audio documentary, 2018 Access Bank Lagos Marathon Radio Advert, Genii Games’ Children stories series. He has featured in theatre productions like Lottery Ticket, Our Husband Has Gone Mad Again, Kakadu the musical, Saro the musical, Wakaa the musical, Fela And The Kalakuta Queens, Sankara, The Trials of Brother Jero, Fractures, Band Aid, Boney Manili, Adio the musical, Our Son The Minister, Death and the King’s Horseman, Threesome, Beautiful wilderness, Our Duke Has Gone Mad Again, and many more His Tv/film credits include; Seven, God Calling, Banana Island Ghost, 93 Days, Zone 222, B4 30, 24, E.V.E His Mother’s Son, Seven, God Calling, Binding Duty.In this movie he is the dedicated father of Funmilayo.

Jide Kosoko

Ibrahim Suleiman

“Ibrahim Suleiman is an Architect, Visual/Digital Artist, and Actor born  and raised by his Mother in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria.

He has worked as a copy writer, story board artist and on-screen talent for numerous Ad campaigns for major brands.

As an actor, he has played diverse roles in big and small screen film and television projects, and recently established his own production company [I-Cubed Media] which already has a YouTube series and a feature length film showing.

He is a huge admirer of all creative processes and believes that collaboration is the spine of fresh expression.” He plays the ever loving and supportive husband to Funmilayo Ransom Kuti

Omowunmi Dada

Omowunmi Dada is an award winning seasoned actor best known for her role as Folake in the M-Net television series “Jemeji”, and recently as the Young Bride in “Elesin Oba”, the cinematic adaptation of Wole Soyinka’s death and the kings horseman. She has performed in movies and TV series like “Game On”, “Ayinla”, “Oloture”, and EbonyLife’s “Dere” (an African adaptation of Disney’s “Cinderella“).

In 2020, she was awarded Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards, and bagged the award for Best Supporting Actress Movies or TV series at the AMVCA in 2022.
